Berghaus Commission - 'Time to Get Out' 2018-2019 Advertising Campaign

In Summer 2018 I was asked to complete a commission for Berghaus, by VCCP advertising company, to be part of their forthcoming advertising campaign, if chosen from the five selected artists. The landscape painting was inspired by misty moorlands and the headland near Binnel Bay on the Isle of Wight, and was to represent the Autumn/Winter part of the campaign. 'Time to Get Out' was created to inspire people to get away from their screens and the trappings of modern life, and out into the great outdoors. Using catchy, humourous taglines, referring to the sometimes ridiculous side of technology and modern living, to encourage re-connecting with nature and gaining perspective. The campaign was launched at the London Design Biennale in Somerset House, which included an installation showing the artworks, and then ran on multiple platforms including out of home, press, video on demand, digital radio and TV, as well as lifestyle print partners, social media and You Tube.

It was a great honour to be part of this project and I feel very fortunate to have been involved.
